Is there an additional cost to work with a Sandals wedding planner?
There is no fee for your Sandals wedding planner. Every couple at Sandals receives the expertise of a dedicated Wedding Team as part of the complimentary wedding inclusions. Morris Travel Co. will coordinate with them to ensure both your celebration and your guests’ travel run smoothly and effortlessly.
Will our marriage at the resort be legally recognized in our home country?
Yes, your marriage will be legally recognized in both your home country and state. Morris Travel Co. will coordinate with your resort’s dedicated wedding planner to guide you through all required documents. For information on name change procedures, please check with your local government.
What fees should we expect for the marriage license and administration?
The Marriage License and Administrative Fee will be collected by the Sandals or Beaches Wedding Concierge, who will send you an invoice. Fees vary by island as follows: Barbados: $444 USD, Bahamas: $555 USD, Curaçao: $749 USD for legal weddings or $400 USD for symbolic weddings, Grenada: $535 USD, Jamaica: $250 USD, Antigua: $503 USD, and Saint Lucia: $395 USD. These rates are subject to change.
Will medical or blood tests be required for our wedding?
No, medical or blood tests are not required to get married in Antigua, Barbados, the Bahamas, Curaçao, Grenada, Jamaica, or Saint Lucia.
What special inclusions are available for weddings with group accommodations?
Depending on the size of your group and your travel dates, you may be eligible for a complimentary room credit and reduced room rates.
What activities can we arrange for our wedding guests?

When can we expect to get our marriage certificate?
Your marriage certificate will be sent within a few weeks, depending on the island: Antigua: 4 to 6 weeks, Barbados: 2 to 4 weeks, Bahamas: 8 to 10 weeks, Curaçao: 6 to 8 weeks, Grenada: 2 to 4 weeks, Jamaica: 6 to 8 weeks, Saint Lucia: 6 to 8 weeks, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines: 6 to 8 weeks, Turks and Caicos: 8 to 10 weeks. These times are approximate and subject to change.
